In the monumental building De Olifant in Amsterdam, a remarkable work environment has been created for Olyx: the new “Habitoor.”

The historical character of the building is reflected inside through the stunning interior design by Casper Schwarz, realised in close collaboration with NEWkantoor. The result is a workplace where people feel safe, valued, and inspired.

The glass partitions were custom-made to preserve and enhance the monument’s character within the interior. The TEN single-glazed wall was installed in a full-height configuration, extending up to the ceiling, allowing natural light to flow abundantly throughout the entire building. The large, characteristic arched window of the front façade has been reinterpreted inside with a DOUBLE FRAME DOOR and single-glazed wall in an elegant curved line.

On the other glass walls, the horizontal divisions are precisely aligned with those of the entrance, creating a calm and cohesive appearance. The profiles are finished in a trendy pearl grey coating (RAL105 matte).

For Olyx, this Habitoor is more than just a design — it’s a statement, a foundation for growth, connection, and pride.
